Name   Interferon-stimulated gene 20 kDa protein(ISG20)

Sequence

Sequence Length  181

Source  Homo sapiens (Human)

UniProt ID Q96AZ6

Gene ISG20

Activity Information

Target Organism  HCV,HAV,YFV

Activity

  • [Ref.21036379]Hepatitis C virus (HCV):ISG20 inhibits HCV RNA replication and progeny virus release in Huh7.5 cells that lack both RIG-I and TLR3 viral RNA sensing pathways which recognize HCV replication and trigger IFN antiviral responses.
  • ISG20 against HCV, HAV(hepatitis A virus), BVDV(bovine viral diarrhea virus) and YFV(yellow fever virus) all require the exonuclease activity of ISG20.

';

Modification  No modifications on the sequence.

Comment

ISG20 is an interferon-inducible 3′–5′ exonuclease that inhibits replication of several human and animal RNA viruses.
